Condolence From: Shirley Jarembo Wiechert
Condolence: Roy was one of my classmates in high school. I remember him as being the handsomest boy in class. . . you might say the classic jock! Unfortunately different paths prevented us from knowing each other into maturity. From reading the other condolences and obiturary, it sounds like Roy had a rich life of service to others and a lot of fun! What better tribute can you have? My sympathy goes to his wife Lynette, my cousin and his children and grandchildren for I know he will live on in their memory forever. Good Journey Roy!

Condolence: Roy-Boy! Thank you for ALL the memories since our first meeting with the hose over 35 years ago. After I got to know you, you became my mentor, my partner, and my friend! I learned an awful lot of life lessons from you; some of which have made me who I am today. You have touched the lives of so many over the years. You are going to be sadly missed by many. God Bless You!

Condolence: To Roy's Family... A few years back I used to talk to Roy at least once a day in his job for M&M and mine at Seng Crane. He was a fun guy and liked to tell or hear a good joke and of course so did I. Please remember those we love tho go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near still loved, still missed and very dear. God Bless you and Keep you in your time of sorrow. Condolence: My heart goes out to you Lynette and your family. When life gets tough I resort to my favorite quote by Dr. Seuss- "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened. When I think of Roy I think of....ice cream, chips, 2 liter of pop, his food not touching other foods on his plate and finishing one clump of food before he starts another. How he might not of been the slimmest referee but damn put him on a basketball court and he could keep up with anyone. These are all memories that put a smile on my face because it happened. May that quote help you, like it helps me.

Condolence: Dearest Cousin Roy,
If only...
How many times do we here on earth say those words?
Our families go back so many, many years. If only I had known you better... You'd have been surprised at how many times your name and your Dad's came up in conversations at our house, though. It was always in a "Geez, I miss them, or Geez, I wonder how they're doing?" tone. Kind of like a longing for something missing in our lives.
I feel so fortunate that I was able to spend some time with you at Dr. Miller's office a couple of years ago. We had a wonderful visit and I could feel that family connection immediately. Rest in peace, my dear man. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I believe we can re-connect in the House of the Lord at some future time and I look forward to it.
