Bobby “Steve” Norman, age 63 of Manistee passed away November 28, 2018.
He was born on November 14, 1955 in Hobart, OK the son of the late Howard A. & Bertha J. (White) Norman of Merritt, MI. He grew up in Oklahoma as an “Army Brat” as well as being able to travel with the family. He graduated from Houghton Lake High School.
A lifelong nationwide career in Hotel Management began after he started working at a local hotel in Houghton Lake.
He is survived by his sister Wanda Garcia (Joel Lyman), nephew Jeff Norman and his daughter Elizabeth Norman, brother-in-law; Charles Garrow and nieces; Heather (T) Cyr, Brandy (Wayne) Shumway, Jenny (Jeremiah) Peless, lots of grandnieces and nephews, his special friend; Sara Palumbo, and his beloved dog; Bandit.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Sue Garrow and twin nieces; Stacey & Samantha.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
