Jacquelyn Kay Ursum, age 77 of Irons, Michigan died Sunday afternoon January 8, 2017 in a head-on car collision on M-37 in Wexford County Michigan.
She was born on March 11, 1939 in Manistee, Michigan, the daughter of Carl Pierson and Nellie (Stewert) Pierson. She attended Manistee High School. She married James Ursum on October 5, 1963 in Manistee. She had been a homemaker most of her married life. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Manistee. She enjoyed going for rides in the truck and collecting Indian things. Any spare time she ever had was devoted to her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her son Eric Ursum and daughter Stacy Huggins, granddaughter Danielle Martin and grandsons Derek and Cody Aguilar, sisters Jean Edmondson and Betty Lytle and brother Terry Pierson.
Memorial Service date, place and time to be announced at a later date. Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Manistee has been entrusted with arrangements.
