Obituary for Marilyn Kay Weaver

Marilyn Kay Weaver
Marilyn Kay Weaver, age 70, died September 13, 2016 of heart failure at West Shore Medical Center in Manistee. She was born on November 15, 1945 in Goodrich, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents Bertha (Austin) and Theron “Buck” Weaver and nephew Jerry Sutton.

She is survived by her sisters Alice (Stump) Sutton and Suzanne and Rodger Johnson along with nephews John Stump and Chris Sutton, nieces Arlee Sutton, Bonnie Varicella, Pamela Davis, Wendy Blankenship, Cindy Johnson-Evans, Roxanne Musselman, Dana Sutton-Myers, their spouses and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her best friends Donna and Ken Williams and Penny Socksteader along with many other good friends.

Marilyn’s faith was very important to her and she was always very active in her church. She was also a dedicated volunteer at the Salvation Army and loved helping people. She was never happier than when she was playing (and winning) games around the kitchen table. She will be sorely missed by many people.

Services will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 1:00 at Heritage Baptist Church in Manistee with a luncheon to follow.
