Obituary for Ruth E. James
Ruth graduated from Creston High School and attended Davenport Secretarial School. She married Richard Howard James on March 18, 1946 in Grand Rapids; he preceded her in death on February 20, 2005.
Ruth was a faithful member of Community Church in Ludington.
Ruth is survived by her daughter; Diane (Edward) Combs of Pentwater, son; David James of Ludington, four grandchildren; Randy (Kellyn) Combs, Christie (James) Gillen, Tony (Catherine) James and Matt (Linda) James, also seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister; Mary Lou Howard.
Funeral services will be held for Ruth on July 27, 2016 at 11:00AM at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Ludington with Pastor John Brown of Community Church officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation at 10:00AM until time of service. Burial will take place at Blythefield Memory Gardens in Belmont.
