Obituary for Agnes L. Budreau

Agnes L. Budreau, age 90, of Ludington passed away on Monday June 27, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on October 19, 1925 in Ludington, daughter of the late David J. and Janet E. (Keith) Forrest. Agnes attended St. Simon Elementary and High School in Ludington. Agnes married Edward G. Budreau on July 7, 1945 in Ludington. He preceded her in death on August 5, 2002.

Agnes was a lifelong devoted member of St. Simon Catholic Church and member of the St. Simon Adoration Chapel. She enjoyed reading, traveling, crocheting and she was a loving grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Agnes is survived by her 3 sons, Donald Budreau, Mike Budreau and Tom (Emily) Budreau; 3 daughters, Kathy Owens, Marge Davis and Jan (Kevin) Clanton; daughter of her heart, Toni (Troy) Wulfekuhl; grandchildren, Ed Owens, Amanda Owens, Josie Sanford, Vickie Kennington, Betsy (Beau) Eckermann and Shelle Budreau; brother-in-law, Donald F. Budreau; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward; son, Roger Budreau; son-in-law, Rick Owens; 2 brothers, Russell Anderson and Keith Forrest.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial for Agnes will be held at 10:00AM on Friday July 1, 2016 at St. Simon Catholic Church in Ludington. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday June 30, 2016 at Oak Grove Funeral Home from 2:00 to 4:00PM and 6:00 to 8:00PM and again on Friday morning at the church from 9:00AM until time of mass. Burial will follow at Pere Marquette Catholic Cemetery in Ludington.

Memorial contributions in memory of Agnes may be directed to St. Simon Food Pantry or a charity of choice. Please feel free to share a memory or photo with Agnes’s family at www.oakgrovefh.com.

The family has entrusted funeral arrangements with Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
