William Fleming's Obituary
William Cecil Fleming, Age 76 of Irons, Michigan died Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at his home.
He was born on March 15, 1943 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan the son of the late John Wesley & Dorothy Pauline (Leach) Fleming. He was a 1961 graduate of Mt. Clemens High School. Bill served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. On January 19, 1964 he married Carol Jean Randazzo at the United Methodist Church in Mt. Clemens. He had been employed by General Motors for 33 years.
He was an avid sports fan. He also served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Macomb Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; Carol Jean Fleming, children; Brian (Connie) Fleming, John (Marie) Fleming, Laurie (JB) Boyer, & Erin (Stephanus) Vermuelen, grandchildren; Amanda Hetzel, Freddie Hetzel, MD, Amber Fleming, Anthony Fleming, & Rylee Fleming, great granddaughter; Bailey, and his brother; Donald Fleming.
Military Services will be held at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Arrangements by Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Manistee, Michigan.
