Will Babcock, age 20 of Manistee, passed away on Friday February 7, 2025, at his home in Lansing, Michigan.

Born on December 22, 2004, in Hemet, California, Will was the son of William Harvey Babcock Jr. and Heather Erin Sharkey. Will graduated from Manistee High School, Class of 2023 and was attending Michigan State University.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Will was such a smart young man. He enjoyed his computer games, gambling and watching Seinfeld and Kramer. Will loved his pets, but his favorite was Chaz, which he's reunited with now. His friends were his whole world. Will loved spending time with his friends, especially his best friends Bryce, Matthew, Tug, Gannon, and Sullivan.

He is survived by his mom, Heather Sharkey; siblings Rachel Carinio and her sons Marcus and Oliver, Heidi Babcock, and Wyatt Babcock; stepdad Elton Marseilles; grandmothers Tani Sharkey and Myrtle Babcock; grandfather Doug (Lorna) Sharkey; uncle Donald Babcock; and many other family, friends, and loved ones.

Will was preceded in death by his father William Harvey Babcock, Jr., his grandfather William Harvey Babcock, and his aunt Megan Valadez.

A Celebration of Will's life will be held on Saturday February 22, 2025, at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Manistee at 12:00 noon with a time of sharing at 1:00 PM.
