Tom Jans, 75, died Sunday, April 7, 2024 surrounded by family.

Born on October 7, 1948 in Manistee, MI, the son of Carl and Susan (Adamski) Jans, he worked at Martin
Marietta until his retirement in 2008. Tom celebrated his 54th wedding anniversary on March
21st with his beloved wife Nancy (Lijewski) Jans.

Tom and Nancy had two children, Carl Jans (Jenny Jans) and Tammy Nash (Bob Nash), both of
Manistee. He enjoyed his grandchildren, Christopher, Nate and Kari Jans and Ethan, and AJ
Anderson
.
Tom and Nancy loved to camp and spend time with their favorite pet, Maddy and close friends
Dave and Linda Spellich. Tom loved the holidays, especially Halloween Weekend at Ponco's
Pond in Ludington, MI. For many years, he took joy in decorating his campsite and competing
with his children for 1st place.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Manistee, MI on Saturday, May
11th beginning at 11:00 a.m. with a brief service at 1 p.m..
