Todd Allen Schmeling, age 62 of Manistee died Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan.

He was born on April 18, 1962, the son of John D. & Carol A. (Steinberg) Schmeling. He was a 1981 graduate of Manistee High School. He had been employed by Oak Grove Cemetery and at Oleson's Food Store.

Todd was a member of the Knights of Columbus Monsignor J.M. Steffes Council 853 in Manistee. He was a huge Elvis fan, as well as a fan of the Detroit Tigers & Detroit Lions.

Survivors include his mother; Carol Ann Schmeling of Manistee, his siblings; Joyce (Ken) Musculus of Orlando, FL, Shelley (Rudy) Guillen and Tricia Schmeling both of Manistee, and Jeff (Sue) Schmeling, Peggy (Tom) Savage, & Sandy (Tom) Jewell all of Holland, Michigan, as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, & cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father; John on October 2, 1996.

Funeral Services for Todd will be held Friday, February 21, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Oak Grove Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Manistee. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
