Tina (Foster) Garten, age 69 of Manistee died early Sunday morning, November 30, 2025 at her home
.
She was born on June 6, 1956 in Manistee, MI , the daughter of the late Thomas Henry & Beverly Ruth (Wolf) Foster, Sr. She attended Manistee Public School Schools and married Richard "Rick" Garten in Manistee.
Tina enjoyed gardening, both food and flowers including memorial gardens for brother and father. Tina generously prepared great food. Camping with family and friends made her light up with joy. Tina also enjoyed traveling, especially to visit family.
Survivors include her loving husband; Richard Garten, her sister and best friend; Yvonne Foster, brothers; Patrick Foster, Thomas Henry /Foster, Jr., Lance Foster, & Timothy Foster, her children; Jake Galvanek, Luke "Henry" Galvanek, Zachary Galvanek, Daniel Garten, Shawn Garten, & Jacob Garten as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother; Steven Foster, mother-in-law; Rita Garten, and father-in-law; Richard "Dick" Garten, Sr.
Services to be determined at a later date.
