Timothy J. Helminiak, age 65 of Manistee, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday January 23, 2025, at home.

He was born on November 24, 1959, in Manistee, son of Anthony and Maryellen (O'Herron) Helminiak. He attended Mason County Central Schools, graduating with the class of 1977.

Tim married Donna Kaiser on July 19, 1986, in Albion, MI at Saint James Episcopal Church. He was self-employed, working as a handyman here in the Manistee area. Tim enjoyed hunting, home improvement projects for everyone, baseball and watching his granddaughters growing up.

Tim is survived by his wife, Donna Helminiak; daughter, Shawna (Matt) Roskoski; son Ryan (Alex) Helminiak; granddaughters, Madelynn Roskoski and Roam Helminiak all of Manistee; Parents, Anthony and Maryellen Helminiak of Manistee; brothers, Dan (Christi) Helminiak and Tony Helminiak both of Scottville; and sister, Dawn (Brad) Melchert of Manistee.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life gathering for Tim will be held from 2:00PM till 4:00PM on Saturday February 15, 2025, at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Manistee.
