Timothy Michael Granger, 66, of Manistee, Michigan, passed away at Munson Medical Center on November 29, 2025.
He was born in Manistee, Michigan on July 15, 1959. He attended Manistee High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University with emphasis in biology and psychology. Tim worked as a Biology Technician with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service in Ludington Michigan for over thirty years before his retirement, working to maintain the Great Lakes fisheries and giving talks on nature topics

Tim was an avid nature lover He spent many hours in the forests with his friends from the local chapter of the Audubon Society and was an expert at bird identification. He was also a talented artist. He was an active member at Divine Mercy Parish in Manistee, and was known for his kindness, gentle spirit, wisdom, and deep spirituality. He had many friends among the Neocatechumenal Way and prayer groups. His deep love for Christ was demonstrated daily to all who knew him.
He is survived by his brother, James Granger, of Traverse City Michigan and his sister Jill Granger, of Ypsilanti, Michigan. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Joel and Frances (Krolczyk) Granger of Manistee, Michigan. He will be deeply missed.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Joseph Catholic Church located at 254 6th St. in Manistee on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM. until time of mass. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
