Steven G. Halcome, 63, of Free Soil, Michigan, passed away on Saturday September 11, 2021, in Manistee surrounded by his loved ones.
Steven was born on August 3, 1958, in Flint, Michigan, the son of the late Lavell and Dorothy Halcome, and biological mother, Madeline Halcome.
Steven was a graduate of Manistee High School.
There were many activities that Steven enjoyed doing, but his favorites seemed to involve the outdoors. Steven loved to hunt, fish, and ride his Harley. One of his favorite activities was racing at the Northern Michigan Dragway.
Steven will be deeply missed by his sons Ricky (Kristi Timmer) Halcome and Jason (Chrystal) Halcome; his brothers Roy Palmer and Sheldon Birdsall; his sisters Sheila Birdsall and Ronnie Birdsall; his grandchildren Jalin Halcome, Hunter Halcome, Austin Geerlings, Weston Geerlings, Austen Halcome, Brooklyn Halcome, and Christian Heuer-Sparks; his beloved dog, Smoke; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and his three special friends Russ and Cindy Culver and Max Miller.
Besides for his parents, Lavell, Dorothy, and Madeline, Steven is preceded in death by Melda Halcome, his sister Shelly Vela, his nephew James Alan Rham II, and Dennis Tyler.
During this time, no services will be held.
