Sharon Smith, age 70 died Sunday morning November 30, 2025 at the Grand Oaks Nursing Center in Baldwin.

She was born on August 12, 1955 in Pontiac, Michigan the daughter of the late Grant & Jewelline (Seiber) Smith. She attended Lincoln Junior High School and Pontiac Northern High School.

Sharon was employed as a baker at the Ruby Creek Store in Ruby Creek, MI, retiring in 2007 after ten years of employment. She loved riding and caring for horses and also collected horse related items.

Survivors include her son; Charles (Jennifer Maxwell) Smith, her Sisters: Vickie Gress of Harrison MI, Gail Michel or Harrison MI, Stacey (David) Bondie of Marion MI, her Grand Children: Kacey (Michael) Marlan of Plainwell MI, Dakota Maxwell of Scottville MI, Ryan Smith of Big Rapids MI, her Great Grand Children: Milo, Azalea, and Nehemiah Marlan of Plainwell MI and many relatives.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by: Sisters Patricia Carlock, Rhonda McKenzie and Gwen Strickland, Nephew; Nathan Strickland, Grandson Ethan Grant Smith, and brothers-in-law; Roger Strickland and Chuck Gress.

Funeral Services for Sharon will be held Friday, December 5, 2025 at 12:00 Noon at Radiant Coast Church in Ludington with Pastor Keith Thiess officiating.

Memorials Contributions in Sharon's name may be directed to the Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Manistee to assist the family with funeral expenses.
