Obituary

Sandra I. McDougal, Age 80 of Free Soil passed away peacefully in her home surround by family on March 20, 2021
.
She was born on April 14. 1940 at home in Kalamazoo, the third child, and first daughter to Edward and Doris (Danger) Coder. She met and married Clifton McDougal on August 17, 1971.

Sandra was a waitress/bartender, a licensed beautician, guard at PCA in Filer City, nurse's aid, EMT Specialist, Township Board Member, a notary, she spent 15 plus years on the Free Soil Fire Department, she volunteered for the fish fries and the American Legion in Manistee, cooked dinners at the Senior Center in Free Soil, she was an avid fishermen, she enjoyed camping, mushrooming, and especially traveling with her sister to all points of interest.

She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband, brother; Lee Coder, Son; Bruce Coder, daughter; Doris Jeffer, son-in-law; Rusty Figg, and one grandson.

She is survived by one brother; Jerry Coder of Arizona, one sister/BFF Sharon (Ralph) Reynolds of Free Soil, daughters; Linda Figg of Paw Paw, & Nancy (Larry) Turner of Hersey, son; Keith (Pam) Morris of Illinois, 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.

Per her request no service will take place.
