Roger Jon Gauthier, age 56 of Manistee, died Monday April 10, 2023, at his home.

He was born on November 10, 1966, in Manistee, MI the son of the late Chester A. & Virginia (Johnson) Gauthier, Jr. He was a graduate of Onekama High School, Class of 1986.

Roger was a self-employed landscaper who enjoyed gardening, hunting, mushrooming, and music. Roger was also a Free Mason.

Survivors include his siblings James (Donna) Gauthier and Kathy (Scott) Buckner; sister-in-law Karry (Mike) Schram; brother-in-law Jim Rogers; friend Tim Soller; his roommate and best friend Greg "Geo" Goff; nieces & nephews Curtis (Justine) Gauthier, Tyler Gauthier, Dawn & Eric Rogers, Josh (Amy) Gauthier, Jessa (Gabe) Kee, Kailani Buckner, Jarrett (Mariah McLouth) Buckner, and Cheyenne (Cody) Sievert Gauthier, as well as Timmy Soller & Nate Edens. Great nieces & nephews, aunts, uncles, & cousins also survive.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers Clarence & Randy, and two sisters Karen & Judy.

Graveside Services for Roger will be held Sunday April 23, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Onekama. There will be a luncheon to follow at the Old Newland School on Schoedel Road.
