Robert J. "Paco" Kaminski, age 69 of Manistee, passed away on Saturday October 12, 2024.

Born on May 17, 1955, in Manistee, Michigan, Paco was the son of the late Stephen and Marjorie (Fortin) Kaminski. He was a graduate of Manistee High School, Class of 1974.

Paco went to work for the Manistee News Advocate prior to graduating high school and ended up retiring from there as head pressman after 45 years of employment.

He was involved in the Manistee Bowling Leagues. Paco enjoyed playing Pinochle and he loved helping people. He absolutely loved dachshunds.

Paco is survived by his siblings Jean Nowak, Alan Kaminski, and Debbie (Frank) Kawalec; very special friend Anne Kuenzer; his brother Don's significant other Carla Dotts; brothers-in-law Jim Magmer and Paul Peterson; sister-in-law Eleanor Kaminski; and numerous nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Phillip Kaminski, Ronald Kaminski, Carol (Chiefy) Kaminski, Sue Magmer, Linda Petersen, Stephen Kaminski, Roger Kaminski, and Donald Kaminski, who passed away last week on Tuesday October 8th, 2024.

A Celebration of Life for Paco will be held on Tuesday October 22, 2024, with visitation at 11:00 AM and a time of sharing at 12:00 noon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Stomp Out Cancer.
