Robert Duane "Big Bob" Bruyette of Cadillac passed away peacefully on Friday, June 6, 2025, at the age of 89.

A proud lifelong Lions fan and an avid bowler, Bob was also a two-time state Golden Gloves boxing champion in his younger years. His strength, spirit, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Jacquie, in 2021.

Bob is survived by his children: Robert Bruyette (Denise), John Bruyette (Wendy), and Stacey Sands (Gary Hughey); his cherished grandchildren: Jenifer, Emilie, Matt, Jake, Beth, and Andrea; and 11 great-grandchildren. He is also remembered fondly by his special niece, Mary Lou Koschmider, and dear friend, Shawn McConnell.

A private memorial service will be held for the family.
