Richard "Dick" Jasinski, age 80 of Kaleva, Michigan, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the comfort of his home early on December 25, 2022.

Born Richard John Jasinski, he was the son of John and Virginia (Janicki) Jasinski. Dick attended Manistee Catholic Central and graduated in 1960. He went on to serve for 22 years in the United States Air Force. After retiring from the military, he worked as head custodian in the Traverse City School District.

He married Susan Mackin in 1966. He is survived by his three adult children and their spouses, John and Janet (Decker) Jasinski, Pamela and Gregory Collins, and Christina Eddington. He also leaves behind his beloved granddaughter, Chelsea and Slavic Lund, and great grandson Watson Lund.

His last love was his dog, Jinger, who adored him as much as he did her.

He will be missed greatly by us all.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Virginia, and by many aunts and uncles.

A funeral service for Dick will be held on Thursday January 5, 2023, at 11:00AM at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Manistee with Father Basil Lek officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00AM until the time of service.
Dick will be laid to rest at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Manistee.
