Richard Dean Colegrove, age 68 of Wellston, passed away on Friday February 14, 2025 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan.

He was born on May 22, 1956, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the son of the late Thomas Wesley and Erma (Utter) Colegrove. Richard attended Ypsilanti High School.

On October 19, 1979, in Ypsilanti, Richard married Bonnie Jean Harrison. They shared 45 loving years together.

Richard was a semi-truck driver for Silver Dollar Transport. He was an avid coin collector as well as a collector of Hot Wheels.

He will be missed by his wife Bonnie Jean Colegrove of Wellston; children Richard Dean (Mary) Colegrove II of Ypsilanti, Christopher Carl Lee (Sandra Willis) Colegrove of Kalkaska, Britney Jean (Michael) Williamson; grandchildren Richard "Dean" Colegrove III, Corinna Colegrove, Ashlynn Wynne, Marissa Colegrove, Bethany Gerhardstein, and Scott Williamson; siblings Thomas (Gerti) Cazier, Janice (Ernest) Vanover, and Kenny Colegrove; as well as many other family, friends, and loved ones.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brothers Jay Cazier and David Rich and sisters Norma Jean and Carol McNaughton.
