Phillip Lyle Peterson, age 89 of Arcadia died Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital.

He was born on May 15, 1936 in Arcadia Township the son of the late Ward C. & Mildred L. (Tennant) Peterson. He married Gay Wilson on September 26, 1969 in Beulah. She preceded him in death on June 30, 2007.

Phillip was employed as a machinist and repairman at Frankfort Manufacturing. He also owned Arcadia Sharp All and had worked at Arcadia Bluffs.

He was a member of the Arcadia Township Fire Department and the Honor Masons. He enjoyed old cars and was a member of the Cherry Bowl Cruisers Car Club

He is survived by his brother; Charles (Cheryl) Peterson of Bear Lake as well as by nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a sister; Beverly J. Poynor and two brothers; Robert and Kenneth Peterson.

Graveside Services will be held Monday, November 3, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at the Conway Cemetery conducted by the Honor Masons. A reception will follow at the Pleasant Valley Community Center in Arcadia from 2:30 to 5:30 P.M..
