Peggy Ann Derouin
Peggy Ann Derouin, age 71, of Manistee passed away on Wednesday March 11, 2020 at home. She was born on February 9, 1949 in Muskegon, where she grew up before moving to Angola, IN. She worked at Walmart for 20 years before retiring and moving to Manistee to be closer to her Indian tribe.
She was involved in the community and enjoyed learning about her Native American Culture.
Surviving are her husband and best friend James Derouin of Manistee; children, Greg (Lisa) Derouin, Matt (Angie) Derouin and Jeff (Anne) Derouin all of Angola, IN; grandchildren, Tyler, Betsy, Haley, Devon, Nate, Zachary, Kristian, Isaac, Trinity, Luke, Chayton, Logan, Jaeger and Jordan all of Angola, IN.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 9, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Aki Community Center in Manistee.
The family has entrusted funeral arrangements with Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Manistee.
