Patricia Jean Schoedel, Age 89 of Manistee died early Saturday morning April 10, 2021 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

She was born on March 3, 1932 in Arcadia, MI the daughter of the late John & Ila Marie (Gilbert) Johnson. She was the Valedictorian of Arcadia High School Class of 1950. She then attended Central Michigan and earned her teaching certificate. On November 2, 1966 she married Chuck Schoedel in Manistee. He preceded her in death on January 14, 1982.

Pat taught at the Newland School as well as being a housewife, homemaker, & farmer. She also owned and operated Peaceful View Pet Memorial Service. She attended the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.

Survivors include her children; Vic Bradford, Charlie (Katie) Schoedel, Bill Schoedel, John (Kathy) Schoedel, and PJ Kenyon, numerous grand and great grandchildren, and a sister; Adelle Porter.

She also was preceded in death by a son; Britt Bradford, sister; Phyllis Stoops, and three brothers; Darryl Cady, Robert Johnson & Randy Johnson.

Memorial Services for Patricia J. Schoedel will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Onekama with Pastor Jacob Sherry officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 16th from 2-4 & 6-8 at the Oak Grove Funeral Home in Manistee and at the church Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until time of Service
