Patricia Lee (Krueger) Parker, age 84 of Onekama died June 27, 2023 at Ludington Woods Assisted Living in Ludington.
She was born on May 12, 1939 at home in Manistee, MI the daughter of the late Harold Arthur & Bettye (Phillips) Krueger. She was a graduate of Manistee High School Class of 1957 and then attended the Michigan College of Mining and Technology – Sault Ste. Marie Branch. She served in the United States Air Force from 1964-1966 stationed at Wilford Hall Medical Center serving as a lab technician.
On April 30, 1966 in Bandera, Texas she married William Thomas Parker by a Justice of the Peace next to a sheep field.
Patricia had been employed by Security National Bank in Manistee, was on the accounting staff at Parker-Hannifin Corporation from 1973 until her retirement on November 20, 1984, and was a seller of Antiques & Collectables on eBay from 2010-2020.
Her hobbies and interests included photography, especially of nature, landscapes, & dogs, she was a dog owner and fancier, a tropical fish keeper & breeder, antique collecting, science fiction books & media, Anglophile, and as a former cornet player in high school band she enjoyed attending music performances and theater – especially her sons.
She is survived by her husband; William Thomas Parker, one son; Christian Thomas Parker, and one brother; Louis Krueger.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a half-sister; Mary Lee Greene.
Military Honors by the Manistee United Veterans Council and members of the US Air Force were held Friday June 30, 2023 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Manistee. Burial followed.
