Patricia Ann McGinnis, age 74 of Manistee, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

She was born on November 10, 1949, in Manistee, the daughter of the late Frank F. & Marie K. (Anderson) Laskey. She was a 1967 graduate of Manistee High School. Pat's career was always in the medical field. She was employed by Drs. Edward & Paul Gunderson. She loved the pediatric field and continued as an office coordinator with Munson HealthCare. Her time working with children, parents, and numerous doctors extended for over forty years. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Number one in Pat's life were her children, grandchildren, and extended family. She also enjoyed "decorating for the season" and loved golf and watching the Detroit Lions.

She is survived by her children; Brian (Kelly) McGinnis, Jacob (Mel) McGinnis, Tayler McGinnis, and Brady McGinnis, grandchildren; Trenton, Blake, Brody, & Madison, great-grandchildren; Brayden, Colten, & Kam, Longtime Companion; Tom Raines and his children; Lea (Paul) Illig, & Alyson Raines, his grandchildren; Jacky, Brianna, Ben, Dallas & PJ, great-grandchildren ; Nolan and Leland, sisters; Helen (Tom) Chycinski and Betty (Mark) Schubert, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son; David McGinnis, grandson; Kyle McDougall, brother; Frankie Laskey, and sister & brother-in-law; Diane & Jim Pefley.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, January 12, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Manistee. The family will receive friends at the church Friday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be directed to the family or Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
