Michael Steven "Pootie" Stutzman, age 50 of Manistee, passed away on Wednesday June 12, 2024, at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.

He was born on April 20, 1974, in Lampasas, Texas, the son of David Lee and Paula Jo (England) Stutzman. Michael attended Manistee High School.

On July 14, 2012, Michael married Ronda McWatters in Ellsworth, Michigan.

He worked as a contractor in construction for 10 years and prior to that he worked at Brooks Roofing for 20 years

Michael enjoyed woodworking, fixing cars, and being with his five dogs: Bella, Mr. Toes, Indie, Gus and Baby Girl. He loved playing with his grandkids and spending time with his children and friends. Michael enjoyed DJ Trivia with his wife and friends (#Dirtyhands4thewin).

He is survived by his wife, Ronda S. Stutzman; children Lucas (Brittany) Bialik, Logan (Stephanie) Bialik, and Lexis (Nicolas) Krieger; grandchildren Aubree, Payten, and Kinsley; his mother; Paula Jo Stutzman, brother Jon (Mandy) Stutzman; nieces Brook, Caitlin, Juniper, and Chloe; nephews Wesley, Dennin, and Chave; mother and father-in-law Ronnie and Vicki McWatters; brothers and sisters-in-law Maria (Chuck) Jenkins, Jordan McWatters, William (Jamie) McWatters, Joshua (Sarah) Moses and Mary Bea (Greg) McWatters

He was preceded in death by his father David Stutzman and his great friend Brian Riffle.

A Celebration of Life for Michael will be held on Monday June 24, 2024, at 6:00PM at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Manistee. Family will receive friends from 4:00PM until the time of service
