Michael Phillip Polcik, 80, of Wellston, died on March 29, 2022, at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital, in Cadillac, with his wife by his side.
He was born October 18, 1941, in Genesee County, the son of Michael Polcik and Alice Wright. Mike grew up in Clio, Michigan.
Mike worked for the C&O Railroad as a brakeman/conductor and served the Norman Township Fire Department as an EMS for many years. Mike loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed the outdoors.
On August 27, 2004, in Wellston, Mike married Lori Underwood who survived him. He is also survived by his children, Stacey Polcik of Otisville, Michigan, and Michael (Tricia) Polcik, Jr. of Wellston; his grandchildren Tanisha Kee and Codie Polcik and his great-grandchildren Landon Kee and Avery Johnson; and his siblings Ralph Polcik and Stan Polcik.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Paula Robinson.
Cremation has taken place per to Michael's wishes.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 9, 2022, at the Norman Township Community Center in Wellston from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
