Michael Dean "Moe" Madsen, age 74 of East Lake, Michigan died at his home on Saturday, September 20, 2025
.
He was born on July 20, 1951 in Manistee, the son of the late Clayton & Mabel (Forward) Madsen. He was a 1972 graduate of Manistee High School.
"Moe" had been employed as a fork lift operator at Martin Marietta. He enjoyed fixing small engines, hunting, fishing, riding his Harley Davidson, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter & son-in-law; Teresa & James Franklin, son; William Madsen, brother & sister-in-law; Jim & Mary Madsen, sister; Vicki Nass, and grandchildren; Taylor & Hannah Belohlavy, Nathan Belohlavy, Dean Madsen, & Rose Madsen,
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law; Keith Nass.
No service is planned at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
