Michael "Sonny" Lovasco, age 71, of Manistee, Michigan died at his home on November 12, 2022.

He was born on September 22, 1951, in Gloucester, Massachusetts and was the son of the late Carlo Anthony Lovasco, Sr. and the late Virginia Mae (Buchanan) Lovasco. He attended the Gloucester Public Schools (Class of '69).

Blessed with a beautiful voice, he was self-employed all his life as a singer/guitar player and the last several years of his life sang for the Lord and the congregation of the Manistee Church of Christ where he was an active member.

"Sonny" is survived by his daughter, Nichole Lopes of Gloucester Massachusetts, his two sisters, Terri Lovasco and Brenda Lovasco Comans both of St. Petersburg, Florida and his brother, Carlo A. Lovasco Jr. of Louisville, Kentucky.

Memorial Services for "Sonny" will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the Manistee Church of Christ. Memorials in his name may be directed to the Church.
