Matthew Clarke's Obituary
Matthew John Clarke, age 55 of Wellston, died Sunday evening December 24, 2023, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan.
He was born on December 24, 1968, in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Maynard E. Clarke and the late Sally Jane (King) Clarke. He was a graduate of Potterville High School and served in the United States Army. He had been employed as a press operator in the plastics industry.
Matthew enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an artist who enjoyed drawing, molding clay models, and poetry. He also enjoyed putting together model cars.
Survivors include his daughters Ariel, Stephanie, & Danielle; his father Maynard (Katherine) Clarke; sister Sarah (Tye) Gates; brothers Joseph and Dale Clarke; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lori Beth Clarke.
