Mary Lynn Leatherman, age 59 of Manistee, passed away peacefully on Sunday December 18, 2022, in the comfort of her home surrounded by family.

Mary was born on May 8, 1963, in LaSalle, Illinois. On November 27, 2011, she married Billie L. Leatherman at Springdale Church in Springdale Township, Manistee County, Michigan.

She was employed at Manistee Heights Care Center.

Mary enjoyed spending her time sewing and knitting.

She is survived by her husband, Billie; her son Jason (Norma Jean) Lott of Manistee; grandchildren Devin, Brooklyn, Marianna, and Annalise; sisters Lucinda (Michael) Bolda, Daytrina Slater, and Darlene Rogers; brothers Gary, Rusty, Howard, and Kenny Rogers; nieces Autumn, Daylana, and Lucy; and nephews Tyler and Travis.

Mary was preceded in death by her mother Barbara (West) Winamaki and her brother Kevin Babcock.
A funeral service for Mary will be held on Monday December 26, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Manistee with Hospice Spiritual Care Advisor Mark O'Brien officiating. Family and friends may visit from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM.

Mary will be laid to rest at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Manistee.
