Marlee Jo Alexander, 18, of Manistee, passed away Monday, July 27, 2026. She was born June 14, 2008, in Saginaw, the daughter of Matthew Alexander and Melissa Keys.

Marlee recently graduated from Manistee High School where she had participated in band and track & field. She had enrolled in West Shore Community College to pursue a career as a CNA or Realtor. She enjoyed the beach, playing volleyball, and badminton. She loved to sing and was a member of the Praise Team at Bridges Church in Manistee. She currently was employed as a server at The Glenwood in Onekama.

Marlee is survived by: her father, Matthew (Ellyn) Alexander; sisters, Emilee Mongeau and Luella Alexander; grandparents, Don & Tonia Reinhard, Robb & Christy Klein, Jeff Alexander, Dan Keys, and Lauri McLeod; two aunts, Ashley (Aaron) Carruthers and Melissa (Robert) Medacco; countless caring cousins; and her cherished Glenwood family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Melissa Keys.

Memorial Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Bridges Church of Manistee, 387 First Street, Manistee, MI 49660. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Friday, July 31, 2026, at Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 309 Parkdale, Manistee, MI 49660.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family or Bridges Church of Manistee.
