Mark Anthony Kusibab, age 65 of Manistee, passed away in the comfort of his home on Saturday November 23, 2024.
Born on December 26, 1958, in Mount Clemens, Michigan, Mark was the son of the late Robert Kusibab and Patricia Montague. He graduated from Brethren High School, Class of 1977. He married Camella Ann Briske on August 1, 1987, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Manistee.
Mark was the owner of Fisherman's Headquarters. He retired in May of 2022.
He was an avid fisherman, especially in the middle of the winter when he wasn't busy at the shop. Mark also liked to spend time hunting and gardening.
Mark was a loving husband and father with a sense of humor that never quit.
Mark is survived by his wife, Camella Ann of Manistee; children Kelsey (Christopher) Nowicki of Odessa, FL and Kye (Alice Solis) Kusibab of Grand Rapids; grandchildren Leo and Elise Nowicki of Odessa, FL; mother-in-law Carol Ann Briske of Manistee; brother Gregory (Kathy Mellon-Kusibab) Kusibab of Wake Forest, NC; and sister Michelle Kusibab Schrett and her special friend Bruce Deerfield of St. Petersburg, FL.
He is also survived by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Cosette (James) Schaefer of Manistee, Cynthia (Robert) Paetschow of Manistee, Carla Morris of Manistee, Conni (Joseph) McGlynn of Muskegon, Colleen (David) Ferguson of Manistee, Kirby (Amy) Briske of Benton Harbor, Kerry (Dave MacKeller) Briske of Grand Rapids, Kasey Briske of East Lake, and Kortney Briske of Ann Arbor; and dozens of nieces and nephews in Michigan and other parts of the United States.
A Celebration of Life Gathering and Luncheon will be held on Saturday December 14, 2024, at 12:00 Noon at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Manistee.
