Marilyn Joyce Schroeder, age 90, from Arcadia, MI passed away on April 24, 2023, at her home in Jenison, Michigan.

She was born on February 10, 1933, in Elberta, Michigan to Orlo and Goldie (Smith) Fitzhugh.

She is survived by her children: Scott (Anne), Vicky (Rick), Alan (Chris) and Eric, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; Sister Joan Gilbert (Jim), Brothers, Jay Fitzhugh (Connie), Ken Fitzhugh (Betty); brother-in-law Bernard Schroeder and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Gerald Schroeder; her parents; grandson, Derek Pahl; brother Lee Fitzhugh and sister-in-law, Dawn Schroeder.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Oak Grove Funeral home, 309 W. Parkdale Ave., Manistee, MI. Family will receive friends from 1:00PM until the time of service. A luncheon will be served following the service.

Memorial donations in Joyce's name may be made to the Arcadia United Methodist Church.
