Luellen Rae Freeman, age 76 of Manistee, passed away at Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital on Thursday October 31, 2024.

Born June 22, 1948, in Manistee, Michigan, Luellen was the daughter of the late Ray and Ethelyn (Linke) Wichtowski. She graduated from Manistee High School.

After 30 years, Luellen retired in 2010 from Kmart where she was a receiving clerk.

She loved attending craft shows, traveling, and going to the casino. Luellen was especially fond of spending time with her family and friends.

Luellen will be dearly missed by her children Jeffrey (Kay) Chambers and Daniel (Denise) Chambers; grandchildren Amber, Siarrah, Kaitlyn, Justin, and Daniel; 5 great-grandchildren; sister Karen Sell; and her companion Roger "Rocky" Baker.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held for Luellen on Saturday November 9, 2024, at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Manistee from 2:00 PM until 4:00 pm.
