Obituary

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Lorelei Ann Najdowski, our loving and devoted mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend on June 16, 2024. Lorelei was born in Manistee, MI on August 2, 1963, where she lived the majority of her life and raised her wonderful children, Justin and Allysha Najdowski.

Lorelei loved her children, grandchildren, and family and embraced every moment with them. She spent as much time as she could with her grandchildren, and they enjoyed learning how to play cards and picked up her kind and gentle nature.

She had such a welcoming personality and made friends everywhere she went. Many of her customers at the Fiesta and Mane Salon became her friends over the years. She loved to help people and recently found a natural connection with her part-time job at the Friendship Society. She loved her job.

She had an artistic flair with steampunk and, as a past time, enjoyed putting steampunk clothing and décor together. She had the biggest heart for others of every walk in life.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Ann (George) Johnston; son Justin (Brandy Martin) Najdowski, father of Brady Najdowski; daughter Allysha (Shane Ikola) Najdowski, mother of Fletcher Re Ikola, the granddaughter Lorelei waited for and got to hold and love; sisters Linda (Robert) Bayer (son Robert Jr.) & Loretta Greiner (sons Christopher Najdowski, Austin Greiner; daughter Jackie Klajda and her children Zaiden, Maverick, Emma, and Zakia); brother David Najdowski (daughter Ava); and extended family Talia Miller, mother of Lorelei's grandsons Brady Najdowski and Myles Miller.

She was preceded by her father David Thomas Najdowski; brother John Najdowski; grandparents Raymond and Imogene Henkel; and John and Cecelia Najdowski.

Lorelei will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

A Celebration of Lorelei's life will be held at Faith Covenant Church, 475 Eighth St., Manistee, MI. Visitation will be held on June 27th, at 4:30pm, followed by the service starting at 5:30pm. A light dinner will follow.
