Linda Lou Oliver, 79, of Manistee, passed away at home surrounded by family, after battling cancer, Thursday, January 29, 2026. She was born December 4, 1946, in Painesville, Ohio, the daughter of Albert and Ruby (Holland) Baker.
She married Michael Floyd Oliver on October 25, 1965, in Wayne, MI. Together they celebrated 41 years of love together and served as foster parents for 10 years.
Linda enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved gardening, bowling, and especially painting. Linda was also a very talented cake decorator.
Linda was blessed to share her love again after Michaels's passing. She and Ronnie Krzyzanowski shared 18 wonderful years together.
Linda is survived by: two daughters, Kelly Gillette of Fountain and Colleen (Wally) Grant of Gilbertsville, KY; four grandchildren, Kyle (Candy) Merrill of Kingsley, Lindsey (Ben) Jansen of Fountain, Alyssa Saunders of Alto, and Jeffery (Jessie) Shartell of Ludington; five great-grandchildren, Bodhi, Blake, Atticus, Nolan, and Austin; three sisters, Sue (Dave) Mead of Watervliet, Sheila Baker of Columbus, IN, and Judy (Gerry) Alfen of Wayland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by: her parents, Albert and Ruby Baker; siblings, Troy Baker, Bill Baker, and Bonnie Kniss.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice of Traverse City or Hospice of Michigan Ludington.
In accordance with Linda's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held later this spring.
