Linda Louise Burke, 78 of Manistee, MI died on Monday, September 22, 2025 while being surrounded by her beloved sons at Medilodge of Grand Traverse County.

Linda was born in Stevens Point, WI to the late William Oscar Blakemore and Althea Louise (Kerr) Blakemore
.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She loved the arts and enjoyed teaching others techniques.

Linda is survived by her loving children, William Burke, Dr Keith Burke (Damian), Ann Cheezum, her brother Dr James C Blakemore, her grand children Kevin, Courtney, and Stephanie, as well as her great grandchildren Theo and Grayson.

She was preceded in death by her son Kevin Burke, daughter in law Roxane Burke and brother William Oscar Blakemore

Linda will be remembered for her kindness, encouragement and the love she shared with those around her.

Funeral Services for Linda will be held Friday, September 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Manistee with her niece Janice Blakemore Gresser officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until time of Services. Graveside Services following at Oak Grove Cemetery.
