Lee Anne Brown, age 66, of Kaleva, Michigan died on November 14, 2025, at her home on Chief Lake.

She was born on December 29, 1958, in Detroit. Lee was the eldest of three daughters of Donald and Marjorie (Turin) Schires of Kaleva. She spent more than a decade driving the bus for Dial-A-Ride in Manistee, spreading laughter and joy to anyone who needed a ride. She spent much of her time in nature on her daily walks, searching for unique rocks and beach glass along Lake Michigan and crafting jewelry to sell at local art fairs.

Lee is survived by her daughters Erin Brown and Anna Brown, her sisters Donna Christesen (Schires) and Mary Hughes (Schires). A Celebration of Life will take place in early summer 2026.

The family has entrusted funeral arrangements with Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Manistee.
