With the heaviest of hearts, we share the passing of Kelton Fink, 22, of Onekama, Michigan, on January 1, 2026. Kelton was born on July 18, 2003, sharing his arrival with his twin sister, Ajah Fink.
Kelton attended Onekama Consolidated Schools, where he graduated in 2021. In 2022, he completed the Michigan Department of Corrections Academy and joined the Oaks Correctional Facility, where he proudly worked alongside his father and two brothers. During his time at the Oaks, Kelton gained another family—one he held deeply in his heart—and formed bonds and friendships that only those who shared that experience could truly understand.
Outside of his profession, Kelton had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether it was group fishing and hunting trips to the cabin up north or hiking new trails, he always found peace and comfort in nature. Kelton recently adopted his first dog, Winston, with his girlfriend, Aaralyn Hamilton, whom he adored unconditionally.
Kelton will be missed by many, but most especially by his parents, Brendan & Lynn Fink and Krista Fink; his sisters, Ajah and Jayla Fink; his brother, Alex (Tiffany) Mackey; step-siblings, Erica (Jeff) Brauneck and Tyler (Deanna) Bell; grandparents, Sheryl and Ed Dorn, Bob and Sue Guenthardt, John and the late Janet Jurik, and Marvin Fink; uncles, Jamie (Lisa) Fink and Chad (Andrea) Dorn; aunts, Lisa Soles, Kelly Fink, and Angela Fink; nieces, Harper and Lydia Brauneck; nephews, Parker Mackey, Greyson Mackey, Brooks Mackey, Asher Bell, and Colt Bell; along with many cousins, all of whom hold strong memories and endless love for him.
Visitation for Kelton will be held on Saturday, January 10, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Manistee, with services to follow on Sunday, January 11, at 2:00 p.m. at the Onekama High School Auditorium. The Fink family invites guests to honor Kelton's laid-back style by dressing casually. Jeans, a t-shirt, Heydude's, Carhartt, or Salt Life attire would be just his way.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made toward a Celebration of Life to be held this summer.
