Karla Brown's Obituary
Karla Kay Brown, age 87 of Onekama died Friday morning, October 3, 2025 at Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital.
She was born on February 21, 1938 in Manistee, MI the daughter of the late Carl L. & Gail L. (Evens) Dahlquist. She was a graduate of Manistee High School. On August 18, 1956 she married Albert Earl Brown at the Swedish Evangelical Covenant Church in Manistee.
Karla was a member of the Junior Clio Club & was a past girl scout leader. She loved the outdoors, gardening, riding snowmobiles, traveling with her husband, and fun adventures with the grandchildren. She also enjoyed to knit and sew.
Survivors include
her husband; Albert E. Brown, daughter; Becky (Duane) Milarch, grandchildren; Daryl Milarch, Stacey (Paul) Johnson, & Grace (Jordan) Tyson, great grandchildren; Mason Milarch and Brandon, Julie, & Ryann Johnson, and a brother; Daniel (Maureen) Dahlquist.
She was also preceded in death by a grandson; Kurt Milarch and a son & daughter-in-law; Randy & Jean Brown
Private family services are being held.
