June Frieda Ann Timmons, age 98, of Bear Lake, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 9, 2021.
June was born on June 24, 1923, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late Walter and Catherine (Cronk) Karsten. She married the love of her life, George Timmons, on July 18, 1942, in Dearborn, and they shared 50 years together before George's passing in 1992.
She had a love for flowers, gardening, knitting, and her tropical fish. June's passion was her family. She loved spending as much time as she could with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
June will be dearly missed by her children Kenneth (Jeanette) Timmons, Bryan (Cheryl) Timmons, Donald Timmons, and William Timmons; her grandchildren Kyle Timmons, Kalea Timmons, Gary Timmons, Summer Timmons, Hailey Timmons, Craig Timmons, Curtis Timmons, Heather Timmons, Mason Haveman, Trevor Timmons, and Kelly Timmons; her great-grandchildren Kenny Matthews, Ace Timmons, Aubrielle Timmons, Aniylah Timmons, Dustin Timmons, Jordynn Timmons, Carter Timmons, Trevor Timmons Jr., Arcadia Adkins, Samantha Timmons, and Steven Timmons; her great great-grandchildren Aleya Matthews, Drake Matthews, Eliana Ellens, Cadence Timmons, and Grayson Timmons; and many other family and friends.
Besides for her parents and her husband, George, June is preceded in death by her daughters Delores Soos and Darlene Timmons, five brothers, and one sister.
Funeral services for June will be held on Saturday November 13, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Bear Lake United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
June will be laid to rest at Pleasanton Township Cemetery.
