Julia Ann Knowles, Age 77 of Manistee, Michigan died on Friday, May 21, 2021 at her home.

She was born on July 23, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of the late Daniel Voynovich and the late Estelle Dolores Koyer. She married Arthur Richard Knowles on July 24, 1976 and he preceded her in death on April 23, 2005.

Julia enjoyed interior decorating, gardening, cooking, crocheting, as well as having pets and spending time with family.

She is survived by her children; Regin & David Soto, Lisa & Tom Collins, Susan & Mike Cam, Michael & Melissa Green, and Noelle & Jason Cross, her grandchildren; Jessica & John Ely, Destinee Cross, Michael Cross, Alex Soto, Diandra Collins, Elizabeth Cross, Shaun & Molly Anthony, Michael Green, Christian Green, & Isabel Green, great grandchildren; Kylie Ely, Kai Cameron, & Owen Anthony, sister; Dolores Vagi, and niece; Laura & John Miller.

In addition to her parents & husband she was also preceded in death by a son; Donald (Tuffy) Green.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Charlevoix, Michigan in the Summer of 2021 at a date to be determined.

Memorials in Julia's name may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
