Joyce Arlene Ramon, age 82, passed away September 5, 2019 at the Manistee County Medical Care Facility. Joyce was born February 23, 1937 in Perry, MI to the late Leon And Elizabeth (Olson) Powers. On January 29, 1965, she married Ruben Ramon in Lansing, MI. She was employed as an operator for Michigan Bell and was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Manistee. Joyce especially loved cooking and traveling. She never lost touch with childhood friends.
Joyce's family includes her husband Ruben, son Mike Carl (Judy), son Eric Carl (deceased), Nita Leslie (George), grandsons; Jon (Kim) & Matt (Alicia), great-grandchildren; Eric and Temperance, brothers in law; Bernie Ramon, Fil (Ruthy) Ramon, Joe (Connie) Ramon and Pete (Cathy) Ramon as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Joyce will be held at Heritage Baptist Church, Friday, September 20, 2019 at 11:45 AM with Pastor Eric Struble officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:45 AM until time of service. Please visit Joyce's personal page of memories at www.oakgrovefh.com.
