(Joseph) Craig Morrison of Onekama, MI age 77 passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, on Thursday December 4, 2025 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, MI. He was born to Joseph and Imogene (Lamoreaux) Morrison on June 17, 1948 in Grand Rapids, MI, and resided in Comstock Park, MI in his early years.

A graduate of West Catholic High School, Craig went on to build a life in the trucking and dairy business where he worked hard to provide for his family. Craig was self employed most of his life having started/owned Portage Lake Distributing, and later becoming an owner/operator. Craig retired from the trucking industry after passing on his vast knowledge of business and trucking to his fellow drivers/friends.

On December 10, 1982 Craig married his loving wife Linda (Schimke) Morrison in Onekama, MI. They blended their two families and raised 4 children while enjoying life together.

Craig was a hard worker with a strong sense of responsibility, and dedication, and those are traits he has passed on to his children. Craig enjoyed socializing around town, football, especially the Detroit Lions, and was a big fan of Elvis Presley. Craig loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren very much, and was very proud of them all.

Craig is survived by his wife of 43 years Linda Morrison of Onekama, MI. His children Scott (Amy) Morrison of Grand Rapids, MI, Kevin Morrison of Grand Rapids, MI, Joanne (Allan) Osmer of Casnovia, MI, and Troy (Holly) Milks of Lowell, MI. His grandchildren Bradley (Chelsey) Osmer, Ryan (Emily) Osmer, Jessica Osmer, Amber Morrison, Torie (Molly) Milks, and Haley (Taylor) Carey. His great grandchildren Greyson, Bryar, Myleigh, Silas, Arliss, Monica, Jackson, Elodie, and Adelyn. His sisters Paula (Jim) Pierson of Grand Rapids, MI, and Melissa (Fred) Walter's of West Olive, MI.

Craig was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Imogene Morrison.

Per the family's wishes a private memorial service will be held to honor Craigs life and his family's love for him. Please remember Craig for his big smile, his big laugh, and all his wisdom/advice he gave you over the years for he would not want it any other way!
