Jeri A. Johnson, 87, of Onekama, passed away Friday October 3, 2025, with family by her side.
She was born on September 12, 1938, in Jackson, the daughter of the late Gerald and Mildred (Donahue) Schultz. She was united in marriage to Robert John Johnson, who preceded her in death, at St Phillips in Benzonia on April 1, 1959.

She was a member of the Episcopal Church in Manistee, for many years and was a member of the Alter Guiled and volunteered her time at the New Life Shop. For many years she was co-owner of Just for Her clothing store in downtown Manistee. She had a love for all sports. If there was a game on television, Jeri would be found watching it. She was known to be at every Manistee High School softball game, no matter what the weather, supporting her husband as he coached.

Jeri is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rob & Shelli Johnson of Onekama; daughters, Justine Blake of Onekama and Rene Johnson of Manistee; grandchildren, Joshua O'Brien of Manistee, Sean (Sarah) O'Brien of Grand Rapids, Isaac (Mikkaela) Blake of Onekama, Destiny (Riley) Blake of Canada, Kaitlin and Ashley Kubiskey of Onekama, and Emily Voorheis of Manistee; great-grandchildren, Halen Blake, Halleigh Gajeski, Ava Voorheis, Parker and Lucas O'Brien, Emmett Nilson; sisters-in-law, Dell Porter of Benzonia and Karen Johnson of Benzonia; numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Daryl Cady; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Phyllis & Ray Stoops; brother-in law, John Porter; brother-in-law, Randy Johnson; sister-in-law, Patricia Schoedel; nephews, Bill Schoedel and Ron Stoops; and great-nephew, James Schoedel.

Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday October 17, 2025, at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Manistee with Pastor Erik Carlson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00AM until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions in memory of Jeri may be directed to the Dementia Society of America.

The family has entrusted funeral arrangements with Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Manistee.
