Jared William Stumbrie, age 36 of Irons, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday January 30, 2025, in Wellston, Michigan.

Born on June 21, 1988, in Ludington, Michigan, Jared was the son of Craig Stumbrie and Sherrie (Butcher) Anderson. He attended Free Soil Community Schools, graduating in 2006.

Jared enjoyed being outdoors – spending time hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, boating, and snowmobiling. He also enjoyed working out. Above all else, Jared loved spending time with his kids and family. They were everything to him.

Jared loved deeply and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His compassionate nature will be missed immensely by those that had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is survived by his children Jace Stumbrie, Riley Stumbrie, and Audrey Stumbrie; father Craig Stumbrie; mother and stepfather Sherrie and Michael Anderson; brother Cody Stumbrie; niece Alivia Stumbrie; and nephew Christian Stumbrie.

Jared was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Christopher and Sylvia (Bender) Stumbrie and maternal grandparents Gene and Patsy (May) Butcher.

A Memorial Service for Jared will be held on Saturday February 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Faith Fellowship Church in Irons with Pastor Ernie Wagner officiating.
