Janice M. Frenchi, 70, of Traverse City, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2026. She was born February 27, 1956, in Detroit, the daughter of Jack W. Lasich and Florence M. Tamm.

On September 2, 1990, Janice married Ronald Frenchi, in Traverse City, and they shared many loving years together until his passing in July of 2018.

Janice had a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and worked for Munson Medical Care for 28 years as a Registered Nurse.

Janice is survived by: her children, Jenifer M. Moon, Joe M. Moon, and Jamie (Steven) Bednarczyk; sister, Jacalyn S. Lasich; niece, Jessie (Anja) Holland; and nephew, Daniel Lasich.

Janice was preceded in death by: her husband, Ron and parents, Jack and Florence.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday, August 31, 2026, at Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 309 W. Parkdale Avenue, Manistee. MI 49660.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan or to a favorite animal charity.
