James Zimmerman's Obituary
James Hayes "Zimmie" Zimmerman, age 74 of Manistee, died early Friday, morning March 7, 2025.
He was born on November 14, 1950, in Manistee, MI, the son of the late James Fredrick & Virginia Echo (King) Zimmerman. He was a graduate of Manistee High School. "Zimmie" had been employed by the Manistee Iron Works. He was a member of the Gentlemen's Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and loving the wind therapy.
Survivors include his wife; Diana Louise (Staff) Zimmerman; daughters Tammy, Tara (Johnny), & Tabitha (Sam); plus extra daughters Sara Wallet & Gabriella Alfano; his grandchildren Fershawn, Kenyatta, Ginny, Lacy, Megan, Seth, Ibrahim, Yasin, Zainab, Riki, Cortny, Aaron, Michael Staff; numerous great grandchildren; two sisters Helen Hoornstra and Paula Clifford; as well as his motorcycle riding brothers & sisters.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Potter and many motorcycle riding brothers & sisters.
A Celebration of Life for "Zimmie" will be held at the Gentlemen's Motorcycle Club in Manistee.
Arrangements by the Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Manistee.
